Assign Tags To Records
Use record tags when you want to organize several records at once around a topic, workflow, customer segment, or research theme.
Bulk tagging helps your team keep the records library searchable and easier to filter later, especially when many records belong to the same area of work.
Before You Start
- Make sure the records you want to organize already exist in the Records library.
- Make sure the tags you want to use are already available in your teamspace.
Steps
- In Records Library, select the records you want to update.
- In the selection panel, click Add tags.
- Choose the tags you want to apply from the suggestions list.
When Should I Use Record Tags?
- When several records belong to the same topic or initiative.
- When you want to make filtering and search easier for your team later.
- When you need to classify records in bulk instead of editing them one by one.
Tips
- Reuse a shared tag naming pattern across your teamspace so filters stay predictable.
- Tag records soon after import or review so the library stays organized over time.
- Use a small set of broadly understood tags before adding more specific ones.
Example
This example selects two records and adds two existing tags from the bulk tag picker.
