In this article, we'll explain how to change your name, email address, profile picture, enable two-factor authentication (2FA) and find and set up account-based integrations.
Change your full name or display name
Log in to NEXT
Click the hamburger menu in the left upper corner
In the side menu, click Personal settings
Click on the input field below "Display name" or "Full name"
Type your name and click outside the input field to save it
Change your email address
Log in to NEXT
Click the hamburger menu in the left upper corner
In the side menu, click Personal settings
Click on the input field below "Email"
Type your new email address and click outside the input field to save it
⚠️ The next time you log in, you'll need to use your new email address. If you lose access to your email account, you won't be able to reset your password.
Add or change a profile picture
Log in to NEXT
Click the hamburger menu in the left upper corner
In the side menu, click Personal settings
Click on the big circle (a placeholder for your picture)
Upload a picture
Remove your profile picture
Log in to NEXT
Click the hamburger menu in the left upper corner
In the side menu, click Personal settings
Click "Remove photo" underneath the big circle
Enable two-factor authentication
To make your account more secure, we offer two-factor authentication (or "2FA"). Enable it by following these steps:
Log in to NEXT
Click the hamburger menu in the left upper corner
In the side menu, click Personal settings
Click on "Enable two-factor authentication"
With your phone or iPad, scan the QR code with your authenticator app (e.g. Google Authenticator, Authy or Microsoft Authenticator)
Enter the code that appears in the authenticator app
Click verify security token to enable 2FA
Change your password
Log in to NEXT
Click the hamburger menu in the left upper corner
In the side menu, click Personal settings
Scroll down to the "Password" section
Click "Change your password by email"
Enter your email address and follow the steps to change your password
Enable Notifications
NEXT can send you notifications when a recording finished transcribing and analyzing. To opt in for this:
Log in to NEXT
Click the hamburger menu in the left upper corner
In the side menu, click Personal settings
Switch on the toggle "Receive email updates when recording is transcribed"
Enable account-based integrations
Some integrations are tied to your account and need to be set up on the Personal settings page. These integrations include Slack, Productboard, Google Drive and Zoom. To set the up:

Click the hamburger menu in the left upper corner
In the side menu, click Personal settings
Scroll down to the "Integrations" section
Click on the integrations you'd like to set up
