What “sanitization” means
Sanitization in NEXT AI targets uploaded content (eg. call recording) and renders it unrecoverable, consistent with the concept of media sanitization (i.e., making access to target data infeasible). Sanitized files are replaced with placeholders in the UI.
Policy-driven automation
Admins can automate media deletion using as per Privacy policy & compliance management—for example, setting sanitization deadlines (NEXT AI enforces by recording date, not upload date). Use this to systematically apply storage-limitation principles.
Compliance anchor
The GDPR’s storage-limitation principle expects personal data to be kept no longer than necessary, with time limits to erase or review. Your combination of deletion controls, sanitization, and export windows supports that operationally.

FAQ
Q: What’s the difference between “delete” and “sanitize” in NEXT AI?

Sanitization targets uploaded video/audio/item. The interpreted insights from the sanitized data remain (interpreted insights do not include PII). Other content remains unless you delete it or enforce additional policies via Privacy policy & compliance management.

Free: NEXT may delete accounts inactive for >90 days with prior notice.
Q: How does this support GDPR?
