NEXT integrates with Zapier, allowing you to automate the repetitive task of importing Recordings into NEXT. Recordings can be created from any audio, video or text data. Here are a couple of use cases:

  • Import audio or video recordings from tools like Microsoft Teams (via OneDrive), Gong, Webex or more

  • Import support tickets from Zendesk

  • Import survey responses from Usabilla, Google Forms, Delighted, or other tools

  • Import Word files that are saved in a specific folder in OneDrive or Google Drive

  • Import Intercom, Zendesk or even Microsoft Teams chats

Getting started is simple! Just follow the steps below👇

Step 1: Log in to or Sign up for Zapier

Log into your Zapier account. If you don’t have an account, sign up for a free.

Step 2: Create a Zap

  1. Click “Create Zap”

  2. You need to set a trigger for your Zap. Click on the "1. Trigger" step

  3. Type the name of the tool from which you want to import recordings into NEXT in the search box and select it (e.g. Microsoft OneDrive)

  4. Choose and Event as the trigger (e.g. new file in folder)

  5. Once you select the trigger event, you’ll be asked to sign in to the tool of your choice.

  6. Click "Continue" and choose the trigger

  7. Test the trigger and continue

  8. You'll need to set up an "Action". Select NEXT as the app to which you want to send the audio, video or text as a Recording

  9. Choose the Event "Create Recording" and click "Continue"

  10. Sign in to NEXT. If you have a custom URL for NEXT (e.g. https://[company-name].nextapp.co/), add your domain name first (in this case "[company-name]"). Sign into NEXT with your credentials and continue.

  11. You'll have to set up the Action for NEXT.

    1. Choose the Teamspace in which you want recordings to be created

    2. Select the "Import URL" if it's a downloadable audio, video or text file or select the variable for "Import text" if you want to add plain text as a recording.

    3. Enter a title for every recording, a description and add labels (you can use any of the variables that appear in the dropdown when clicking in the input fields)

    4. Click Continue

  12. Finally, test the step and, when it was successful, publish your Zap!⚡️
