Labeling Clusters

Clusters are typically used to organize and nurture big-ticket items, such as insights, top findings, assumptions, hypotheses, and UX or Product deliverables. They're designed to be enriched with evidence (i.e. highlights).

Once you have created lots of clusters, easily organizing them and finding them back is key. NEXT offers tons of powerful organization and search features for Clusters. In this article we'll give you a quick overview:

Label Clusters

Clusters can be labeled, so that you can easily find them back afterwards using search filters. Here's an overview of how to add labels to clusters.

Add labels inside a cluster

  • Navigate to Library > Clusters

  • Open a cluster

  • On the right-hand side, find the "Labels" section

  • In the input field, type the label you'd like to create

  • Hit "Enter" to created the label

Add labels to selected clusters in the library

  • Navigate to Library > Clusters

  • To add a label to a single cluster:

    • Hover over a cluster

    • Click the options button (three dots [...])

    • Click Add label

    • Choose an existing label from the list or type a new label and hit "Enter"

  • To add a label to multiple clusters:

    • Hover over a cluster

    • Select the cluster with the checkbox

    • Do the same for other clusters you'd like to label

    • At the bottom of the page, click the label icon (๐Ÿท๏ธ)

    • Click a label from the list to add it or type a new label in the input field (hit "Enter" to save it)
