Clusters are designed to be nurtured with supporting evidence in the form of highlights. This is especially useful when building evidence for themes, assumptions, or deliverables. Highlights can be added automatically with AI or manually.
Here's a quick overview of how to add evidence:
Add highlights automatically with AI
When AI highlights are enabled for a cluster, NEXT AI continuously evaluates new highlights against the cluster and adds relevant matches in the background.
Enable AI highlights from the Cluster dialog using the AI options in the menu bar. Once activated, you can populate a cluster immediately by running matching over your existing highlights using the Match highlights button in the Cluster AI configuration. After that, every newly imported highlight is automatically checked and added when it fits the cluster.
For optimal performance, we recommend creating clusters through Clustering Jobs in Settings. Clustering Jobs automatically detect themes in your data, convert them into structured clusters, and refine their definitions so highlight matching becomes more accurate and efficient over time.
Add highlights manually
You can manually push highlights into existing clusters, either from the highlights library or from inside a recording.
