Configure Transcribe Engine

Use AI Settings to choose which transcription engine your company uses in NEXT.

The transcribe engine converts audio and video into text before analysis begins, so this setting affects the text foundation used by downstream AI features.

Before You Start

  • You must have permission to edit company settings.
  • Available transcription engines may depend on your tenant setup or data residency requirements.

Steps

  1. Open Settings > Tenant > AI Settings.
  2. In Transcription, open the engine list.
  3. Select the transcription engine your company wants to use.

When Should I Use This?

  • When you want to standardize transcription quality across the company.
  • When your organization needs a different vendor or regional processing option.
  • When you are tuning the balance between speed, coverage, and transcription accuracy.

Tips

  • Confirm the selected engine matches your language, region, and compliance requirements.
  • Revisit this setting if transcription quality changes for your typical recordings.
