Deactivate a User

Use Users to turn off access for someone who should no longer be active in your company account in NEXT.

Deactivating a user is useful when someone leaves the organization or should temporarily lose access without deleting their record.

Before You Start

  • Deactivation removes the user's active access to the tenant.

Steps

  2. Find the user you want to deactivate.
  3. Turn off the user's active status.

When Should I Use This?

  • When an employee leaves the company.
  • When access should be suspended during a role or policy review.

Tips

  • Deactivate access promptly when a user should no longer sign in to the tenant.
