Sanitize User
Use Users to sanitize a user when personal data must be removed from the tenant in NEXT.
Sanitizing a user helps you reduce retained personal data while keeping an auditable record that the account once existed.
Before You Start
- You must have permission to manage company users.
- Sanitization should follow your company policy for data removal.
Steps
- Open Settings > Tenant > Users.
- Open the action menu for the user.
- Select Sanitize.
When Should I Use This?
- When a former user’s personal data should no longer remain in the tenant.
- When you need to support privacy or compliance cleanup workflows.
