Sanitize User

Use Users to sanitize a user when personal data must be removed from the tenant in NEXT.

Sanitizing a user helps you reduce retained personal data while keeping an auditable record that the account once existed.

Before You Start

  • You must have permission to manage company users.
  • Sanitization should follow your company policy for data removal.

Steps

  1. Open Settings > Tenant > Users.
  2. Open the action menu for the user.
  3. Select Sanitize.

When Should I Use This?

  • When a former user’s personal data should no longer remain in the tenant.
  • When you need to support privacy or compliance cleanup workflows.
