Start Chat From Dashboard

Use this workflow when you want to start an AI chat directly from a dashboard instead of leaving the dashboard to open Chat first.

Starting from the dashboard keeps the current dashboard context in view while you frame a question and choose the response format that best matches what you need.

Before You Start​

  • Open the dashboard you want to use.
  • Make sure the dashboard already reflects the focus and filters you want AI to use as context.

Steps​

  1. In the prompt box at the top of the dashboard, enter a short question or request.
  2. Optionally, open the mode menu in the prompt box and pick a mode.

When Should I Use Chat From A Dashboard?​
