Use Table Layout

Use table layout when you want to view highlights as rows and columns instead of cards, especially when metadata matters as much as the highlight text itself.

Table view makes it easier to compare fields, reduce visual noise, and tailor the layout to the information you want to focus on.

Before You Start

  • Open the Highlights library.

Steps

  1. Switch to the table layout in Highlights Library.
  2. In the column header for Media, click the more menu.
  3. Choose Hide to remove that column from the table.

When Should I Use Table Layout?

  • When you want to compare metadata such as tags, dates, accounts, or source across many highlights.
  • When you need a denser layout than the card-based library layout.

Tips

  • Hide low-priority columns to keep the table focused on the fields you are reviewing.
  • Use table layout when you are auditing metadata quality across many highlights.
  • Switch back to card layout when you want richer visual context for each highlight.

Example

This example opens the Media column menu and hides that column in the highlights table layout.
