Start Chat From Highlights

Use this workflow when you want AI chat to focus on a specific set of highlights instead of the full highlights library.

Starting chat from selected highlights narrows the context to the evidence you choose, which helps when you want answers based on a clearly defined set of insights.

Before You Start

  • Make sure the highlights you want to use are already available in the Highlights library.

Steps

  1. In Highlights Library, select the highlights you want to use as context.
  2. In the selection panel, click Start chat.
  3. Start a chat from the selected highlights.

When Should I Use Chat From Selected Highlights?

  • When you want answers based on a specific topic, customer segment, or research slice.
  • When you want to compare a small set of insights without pulling in unrelated context.
  • When you want to summarize or explore themes from a targeted set of highlights.

Tips
