This is useful when your team works across languages or when you need a translated version for a document, message, or follow-up workflow.

Before You Start

  • Open a text-based highlight in the Highlights dialog.

Steps

  1. Hover over the highlight text to show the text actions.
  2. Click Translate.
  3. Click Copy to copy the translated text.
  4. Click Show original to switch back to the original wording.

When Should I Use Highlight Translation?

  • When collaborators need the same highlight in another language.
  • When you want to reuse translated text in notes, documents, or messages.
  • When you want to compare the translation with the original text before sharing it.

Tips

  • Review the translated version before sharing it externally.
  • Use Show original to quickly switch back when you want to verify wording or nuance.
  • Copy the translated text right after translation if you need it in another tool.

Example
