Reassign Tags
Use Reassign Tags after you update a tagging agent and want existing memories to be processed again with the latest logic.
This helps you validate or roll out agent changes without manually retagging older memories one by one.
Before You Start
- You must have permission to edit teamspace settings.
- Review the agent changes first so you know why you are rerunning the tagging agent.
Steps
- Open Teamspace Settings > Prepare with AI > Assign Tags.
- Select the tagging agent you want to rerun.
- Choose Recreate tags.
- Pick whether you want to test on a recent sample first or process the full set of memories.
When Should I Use Reassign Tags?
- When you have changed a tagging agent and want existing memories processed again.
- When you want to validate revised logic against a sample before using it more broadly.
Tips
- Start with the sample option when you are testing a revised agent.
- Reprocess all memories only after you are confident the agent behaves the way you expect.
Example
This example reruns an existing tagging agent against a recent sample to validate the updated behavior before scaling it up.
FAQ
Q: Should I start with a sample run?
Yes. A sample run is the safer option when you want to confirm that a revised tagging agent behaves correctly before processing the full set of memories.
