Upload Records
Use record upload when you want to bring new interviews, calls, or other customer conversations into NEXT for transcription and analysis.
Uploading is the fastest way to add a file directly from your computer into the Records library so your team can review it, organize it, and use it in AI workflows.
Before You Start
- Make sure the record file is available on your computer.
- Open the teamspace where you want the record to appear.
Steps
- Open Records.
- Click Add records.
- Choose Upload file.
- Select the audio or video file you want to add.
- Wait for NEXT to start processing the upload.
When Should I Use Record Upload?
- When you already have an interview, sales call, or support record saved locally.
- When you want to add a file quickly without connecting another tool first.
- When you need the record in NEXT so it can be transcribed and turned into usable evidence.
Tips
- Use clear file names so the records library stays easier to scan later.
- Upload records soon after a session so the team can review them while the context is still fresh.
- If your records live in another tool, use an import workflow instead of manual upload when that is faster for your team.
FAQ
Q: What happens after I upload a record?
NEXT starts processing the file so it can be transcribed and used in the records library.
Q: When should I upload instead of import?
Upload when the file is already on your computer. Import is better when the record lives in a connected source like Zoom or Google.
