Create Clustering Job

Use Identify Themes to group related highlights into reusable clusters that reveal patterns across customer feedback.

Creating a clustering job defines how NEXT should name and organize related highlights when it looks for recurring patterns.

Before You Start

  • You must have permission to edit teamspace settings.
  • Know which type of feedback or theme the clustering job should organize.

Steps

  1. Open Teamspace Settings > Prepare with AI > Identify Themes.
  2. Select Create.
  3. Name the clustering job.
  4. Set the cluster label that should appear in the resulting grouped output.
  5. Add instructions if you need the AI to group highlights in a specific way.

When Should I Use Clustering Jobs?

  • When you want NEXT to group similar highlights into recurring themes automatically.
  • When your team needs consistent cluster naming across repeated analysis.

Tips

  • Keep the job name and label closely related so the purpose stays easy to recognize.
  • Add instructions only when the default grouping behavior needs clearer guidance.

Example

This example creates a clustering job focused on billing delays and defines the label used for the resulting cluster.

FAQ

Q: What is the label used for?
