Recreate Clusters
Use Recreate Clusters when you change a clustering job and want the grouped output refreshed with the new rules.
This is useful after you update the job instructions, label, or matching logic and want the cluster results to reflect those changes.
Before You Start
- You must have permission to edit teamspace settings.
- Review the clustering job changes before you rerun it.
Steps
- Open Teamspace Settings > Prepare with AI > Identify Themes.
- Select the clustering job you want to rerun.
- Choose Recreate AI clusters.
- Pick the faster cluster-only option or the slower full rebuild with highlight matching.
When Should I Use Recreate Clusters?
- When you have changed a clustering job and want fresh results.
- When the current cluster output no longer matches the logic your team expects.
Tips
- Use the fast option when you only need refreshed clusters quickly.
- Use the full option when the highlight-to-cluster matching also needs to be recalculated.
Example
This example reruns a clustering job with the fast cluster-only option.
FAQ
Q: What is the difference between the fast and full rebuild options?
The fast option refreshes the clusters themselves, while the full rebuild also recalculates how highlights are matched into those clusters.
