Choose what highlight generation should optimize for when NEXT AI processes recordings.

Recording mode controls whether AI highlight extraction prioritizes precision, broader coverage, or question-structured output from recordings.

Before You Start​

  • You must have permission to edit teamspace settings.
  • This setting affects future AI-generated highlights from recordings.

Steps​

To configure recording highlight generation:

  1. Open Teamspace Settings > Prepare with AI > Highlights.
  2. In the Recordings section, choose the generation mode that matches your goal:
    • Focus on highlight quality
    • Create more highlights
    • Structure highlights by question (Beta)

What Does Each Recording Mode Do?​

Each mode changes how NEXT AI turns recordings into highlights.

  • Focus on highlight quality creates one highlight per detected insight and prioritizes the strongest supporting evidence. Use this when you want a tighter set of more selective highlights.
  • Create more highlights creates highlights for each strong quote tied to an insight. Use this when you want broader coverage and more material to review.
  • Structure highlights by question (Beta) creates one highlight for each interview question and answer. Use this when your team wants highlights grouped by the flow of the conversation instead of by detected insights.
