Use Tags to add a new tag for the recordings and highlights your team tracks in NEXT.
Tags help your team classify highlights consistently so filtering, analysis, and AI workflows stay organized.
Before You Startβ
- You must have permission to edit teamspace settings.
Stepsβ
- Open Teamspace Settings > General > Tags.
- Click Create.
- Enter the tag name.

- When your team wants a dedicated tag for a new workflow or reporting need.

Q: Can I update the tag later?β
Yes. You can change the tag name, group, color, and AI settings later.
Q: How should I use tag colors?β
You can freely choose colors for your tags. By default, NEXT will try to keep colors consistent within a tag group, but you can always override individual tags when needed.
A practical approach is to use one consistent color per tag group. This makes it easier to scan and understand results at a glance, especially when working with many tags. In some cases, it also makes sense to use semantic colors to reinforce meaning. For example: green for positive sentiment and red for negative sentiment.
Use this selectively - clarity is more important than strict rules. If semantic coloring becomes too dense or inconsistent, itβs usually better to fall back to a single color per group.
