View Chat Activity

Use chat activity when you want to see the detailed steps NEXT is taking while working through a chat response.

The activity panel helps you understand how the answer is being built, which is useful when you want more transparency while the chat is processing or before you review, share, or follow up on the result.

Before You Start​

  • Open a chat that is processing or already has a response with activity available.

Steps​

  1. In the chat response, click View activity.
  2. Review the activity panel that opens beside the chat.

When Should I Use Chat Activity?​

  • When you want to understand how NEXT is working through a response.
  • When you want to review the detailed work behind a structured chat answer.
  • When you want more context while the chat is still processing or before deciding on a follow-up prompt.

Tips​

  • Use chat activity when a response includes multiple reasoning or evidence-gathering steps.
  • Keep the activity panel open while reading the answer if you want to compare the final response with the underlying workflow.
