Share to Productboard

Use Share to Productboard when you want evidence from NEXT to become a Productboard note that product teams can review and prioritize.

Productboard sharing is configured in Settings → Integrations → Productboard. After the connection is active, you can share a chat, highlight, or cluster directly into Productboard from the share menu.

Before You Start​

  • Open the teamspace where you want to connect Productboard.
  • Make sure you can access the Productboard workspace that should receive the note.
  • Decide which chat, highlight, or cluster you want to send.

Steps to Connect (One-Time)​

  1. In NEXT, open Settings → Integrations → Productboard.
  2. Click Connect and complete the authorization flow.

  1. Open the chat, highlight, or cluster you want to share.
  2. Click Share and choose Productboard.
  3. Confirm the share.

NEXT creates a Productboard note and includes a link back to the source in NEXT.

  • Use Productboard when your product team reviews evidence there before linking it to roadmap work.
  • Use Productboard when you want insights from NEXT to land as notes instead of engineering tickets.
  • Use Productboard when PMs need a fast way to collect customer proof in one place.

  • Keep the shared content focused so the Productboard note is easy to process later.
  • Share clusters when you want several related pieces of evidence to arrive together.
  • Continue tagging, grouping, or linking the note inside Productboard after the share is complete.

Troubleshooting​

  • Productboard is not available in the share menu. Connect Productboard first in Settings → Integrations → Productboard for the current teamspace.
  • The note appears in an unexpected Productboard context. Check that you are connected to the correct Productboard workspace.
  • Bulk sharing starts failing after many requests. Productboard can rate limit API usage, so retry in smaller batches if needed.
