Even though AI might not require tags for understanding patterns in your data, humans love tags. NEXT offers you easy ways of tagging highlights, either inside a recording or via the library. Tags help you easily find back highlights later on and create a mental model of the insights you've collected so far.
Here's a quick overview of how to tag highlights.
Tag highlights while manually creating them
Open a teamspace
Navigate to Library > Recordings
Open a recording
Select text in a transcript
In the popup that appears, click on "Find or create tag"
Select an existing tag from the list or type to create a new one
Click "Create highlight" and the new highlight will automatically be tagged with your selected tag
Tag existing highlights inside a recording
Open a teamspace
Navigate to Library > Recordings
Open a recording
Find a highlight in the lister on the left-hand side
Click on a highlight you want to tag
Click on "Find or create a tag"
Select a tag from the lister or type a new tag and hit enter
You highlight will no be tagged accordingl
Tag single highlights in the Library
Open a teamspace
Navigate to Library > Highlights
Hover over a highlight card
Click the three dots options button [...]
Click "Add tag"
Select an existing tag from the lister or type a new tag and hit enter
Tag multiple highlights in the Library
Open a teamspace
Navigate to Library > Highlights
Hover over a highlight card
Select the highlight with the checkbox
Do the same for other highlights
At the bottom of the page, click the # icon
Select an existing tag from the lister or type to create a new tag and hit "enter"
