Start Chat From Recordings

Use this workflow when you want AI chat to focus on a specific set of recordings instead of the full library.

Starting chat from selected recordings narrows the context to the material you choose, which helps when you want answers based on a defined set of customer conversations.

Before You Start​

  • Make sure the recordings you want to use are already available in the Recordings library.

Steps​

  1. In Recordings Library, select the recordings you want to use as context.
  2. In the selection panel, click Ask AI.
  3. Start a chat from the selected recordings.

When Should I Use Chat From Selected Recordings?​

  • When you want answers based on a specific interview set, customer segment, or timeframe.
  • When you want to compare a small group of recordings without pulling in unrelated context.
  • When you want to summarize or explore themes from a targeted set of conversations.

Tips​

  • Select only the most relevant recordings before opening AI chat.
  • Use tags in the library first if you need help narrowing the set of recordings.
  • Keep the selected set small when you want tightly scoped answers.
