Upload Recordings

Use recording upload when you want to bring new interviews, calls, or other customer conversations into NEXT for transcription and analysis.

Uploading is the fastest way to add a file directly from your computer into the Recordings library so your team can review it, organize it, and use it in AI workflows.

Before You Start

  • Make sure the recording file is available on your computer.
  • Open the teamspace where you want the recording to appear.

Steps

  1. Open Recordings.
  2. Click Add recordings.
  3. Choose Upload file.
  4. Select the audio or video file you want to add.
  5. Wait for NEXT to start processing the upload.

When Should I Use Recording Upload?

  • When you already have an interview, sales call, or support recording saved locally.
  • When you want to add a file quickly without connecting another tool first.
  • When you need the recording in NEXT so it can be transcribed and turned into usable evidence.

Tips

  • Use clear file names so the recordings library stays easier to scan later.
  • Upload recordings soon after a session so the team can review them while the context is still fresh.
  • If your recordings live in another tool, use an import workflow instead of manual upload when that is faster for your team.

FAQ

Q: What happens after I upload a recording?

NEXT starts processing the file so it can be transcribed and used in the recordings library.

Q: When should I upload instead of import?

Upload when the file is already on your computer. Import is better when the recording lives in a connected source like Zoom or Google.
