Import HubSpot calls

Quick start​

Connect HubSpot in NEXT, enable the Teamspace subscription for this import, and let the scheduled sync pull HubSpot calls and associated engagement metadata into NEXT as Recordings.

Why integrate with HubSpot?​

Some teams already run customer conversations and follow-up workflows directly in HubSpot. Importing HubSpot call activity into NEXT helps those conversations participate in the same insight workflow as meetings from other sources.

  • It helps teams analyze what is being said in calls without leaving that context inside CRM activity alone.

  • Included fields: Call title, transcript or notes when present, participants, timestamps, and related HubSpot metadata.

Authentication​

OAuth 2.0 through the HubSpot app connection in NEXT.

Connection notes​

  • Authorize the HubSpot portal that owns the call activity you want to import.
  • Enable the HubSpot calls subscription for the Teamspace that should receive those Recordings.

Configuration notes​

  • Imports run incrementally, so only newly changed call activity is read after each successful sync.
  • Use Teamspace-level subscription settings to control where the imported calls land.

Limitations​

  • Imported detail depends on what HubSpot stores for each call record.
  • If call media is unavailable in HubSpot, NEXT only imports the data the API exposes.

Troubleshooting​

  • Reconnect HubSpot if the app authorization was removed.
  • Verify the authorized HubSpot account has access to the call engagement data you expect NEXT to read.

What does NEXT create?​

Each imported HubSpot call becomes a Recording so it can be searched and analyzed with other conversation sources.

Is this the same as the HubSpot account sync?​

No. HubSpot calls and HubSpot accounts are separate subscriptions with different outputs in NEXT.
